Renowned sitarist Ustad Raees Khan passes away

He is survived by his wife, eminent thespian Bilqees Khanum, and 4 sons. Raees Khan was innate in 1939 in Mewaat Gharana, a family of famous musicians. He was a 13th ustad of Meewat family and a outrageous name of sitar performers, with a likes of Ravi Shankar, Ustad Sharif Punchwaly, Ustad Walayat Ali Khan, and Ustad Fateh Ali Khan.
