Katrina Kaif chimes in on the ‘Mera Dil Ye Pukare Aaja’ dance trend
Earlier this month, a Pakistani influencer named Ayesha became the talk of the town after one of her dance videos from a friend’s wedding went viral. Consequently, the video featuring a remix version of the classic song, Mera Dil Ye Pukare Aja kickstarted a new dance trend on Tiktok. Joining the bandwagon, Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif too shared her take and uploaded a video online.
Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood star shared a reel, clad in a gorgeous sequenced icy blue saari, posing to DJ Usman Bhatti’s rendition of Mera Dil Ye Pukare Aja.
Kaif captioned with the viral song’s lyrics, “Mera Dil Yeh Pukaare Aaja (My heart is calling, please come).”
The footage was supposedly taken after Kaif attended a wedding ceremony in Jodhpur on Sunday, as she appears to be in the same attire and location. As the Tiger 3 actor was not accompanied by her husband on the occasion, Vicky Kaushal was one of the first people to react to her new post.
In another post wearing the same clothes, the Dhoom 3 actor uploaded a series of captivating pictures with a caption that read, “Aaj Ka din (Today’s day is)” followed by a white heart emoji.
Ayesha, also as ‘Mano’ recently appeared on Nida Yasir’s morning show, Good Morning Pakistan, peforming her dance. Her video has also garnered upto a million views online and has been shared on multiple platforms.
