  • May 06, 2021

Not the infamous death row inmates, the internet is the most notorious killer of them all! And it not only kills people once but multiple times, only to resurrect them and repeat the process all over again.

There have been numerous occasions where a renowned celebrity has been killed by social media users – the latest being celebrated Indian singer, Lucky Ali. On Tuesday, Indian Twitter was abuzz as testimonies and tributes poured in for the O Sanam crooner.

However, Indian actor Nafisa Ali, a close friend of Lucky, clarified that the latter is well and is with his family. “Lucky is totally well and we were chatting this afternoon. He is on his farm with his family. No Covid. In good health,” Nafisa tweeted.

She also told Times of India, “I chatted with Lucky Ali 2-3 times today. He is fine. He does not have Covid. In fact, he has antibodies. He is busy planning his music and concerts. We were talking about virtual concerts happening and all such things. He is on his farm in Bengaluru and his family is there with him. I just spoke to him, everybody is fine.”

However, this was not the first time a celebrity death hoax has gone viral. A large number of stars have suffered the same fate and had to later clarify – case in point: Amitabh Bachchan, Britney Spears and Dilip Kumar among others.
