Of plunging necklines and sleek hairdos: Best dressed at the Lux Style Awards
The 21st edition of the Lux Style Awards (LSAs) witnessed the who’s who of the Pakistan entertainment industry in attendance. Leading players from the fields of music, fashion, TV and film made their way to the red carpet, serving some real visual goodness.
The evening witnessed a myriad of eastern and western outfits and lots of fusion ensembles too. From Nimra Jacob to Mehek Saeed, here are the ladies who left us smitten with their drool-worthy looks.
1. Nimra Jacob
Aptly taking home the accolade for the Model of the Year (Female), Nimra was a sight for sore eyes in this Hussain Rehar number. The bronze beauty was clad in black velvet matching separates, featuring a crop top with a plunging neckline and a sarong skirt with ruched detailing.
The velvet blazer boasted the right amount of fur accents on the shoulder and the cuff of the sleeves. Minimal yet impactful, Nimra rounded off her look with dewy makeup and a red pout.
2. Maha Tahirani
The model opted for a beige, heavily embellished jumpsuit that was cut out at the waist. The halter neck highlighted her collarbones, while the figure-hugging outfit fit her like a glove.
Keeping the attention on the Zain Hashmi creation, we love how Maha went for a high ponytail to complete the look. Her silver eye shadow perfectly complimented the overall look, as did the intricate earrings.
3. Mehek Saeed
Trendy and fashion-forward, the stylist made a case in Namah official for the awards night. Mehek sported a full-sleeved, cut-out black gown for the occasion. The mermaid-style bottom draped to the floor while the leather bodice added to the oomph factor.
The semi-circle-shaped bag from Lilingi London provided the perfect bling to her all-black look. Mehek went for minimal silver earrings and a glowy makeup look.
