‘Raqs-e-Bismil’ actors Sarah Khan, Imran Ashraf wish to reunite on screen
Actors Sarah Khan and Imran Ashraf are in the mood to work together again and fans are overjoyed about the news. Ashraf recently tagged his co-star Khan in a comment and asked if she’d like to do a drama again with him. To fans’ delight, the Sabaat actor was interested too!
“Should we do a drama together, Sarah?” wrote Ashraf in a comment under Khan’s post on Instagram. The duo starred in the hit romantic drama Raqs-e-Bismil in 2020 as a couple – Moosa and Zohra. Talking about a reunion for their characters in a new avatar, Khan said yes to Ashraf’s request!
“Imran! Moosa aur Zohra ka reunion hona chahiye ek naye avatar mai (Moosa and Zohra should have a reunion in a new avatar” she replied. The comment exchange went viral on the internet and fans are excited already!
Last year, when speaking about his experience of working with Khan, Ashraf called her “lucky” for any hero. “To work with Sarah Khan is luck for any hero. No hang-up, no problem, no tension and positivity on set. Stay blessed Sarah and stay the same,” he told Fuschia.
Raqs-e-Bismil, set in Karachi, was directed by Wajahat Rauf and adapted by Hashim Nadeem from Nabila Aziz’s book of the same name. The drama revolved around the lives of Moosa (Ashraf) and Zohra (Khan) who are deeply in love with each other. It also stars Anoushay Abbasi and Saleem Mairaj.
