LAHORE: Albilal Club won 35th M Yasin Akhter Memorial Cricket Tournament when they outplayed Township Whites Club by 5 wickets in the final played at the LCCA Ground on Thursday.
Scores: Township Whites 205/7 in 20 overs Raees Ahmed 85, Atiqur Rehman 12, Ahmed Jamal 26, M Afzal 37, M Sharif 13*, Shahid Ali 2/21).Albilal Club 206/5 in 18.5 overs (Shehzada Khan 83, Sikander 30*, Ali Raza 28, Rao Kahyam Abbas 21, Amir Akram 14*, Sharif 2/42, Shah Faisal 2/22).
Sohaib Ayubi and Waqaur Munir were the guests of honour at closing and opening ceremonies of the final. Tauqeer Ali Shah. Former President West Zone was also present at the concluding ceremony.
Prizes winners: Shehzada Khan has declared man of the match. Ameer Hamza (Dar Club)best batsman; USman Maroof (Model Town Gym) best allrounder; Rao Daniyal (Shining Club) best bowler, Hamza Akber (Township Whites) best Wicketkeeper.
