Pakistan’s bowling line is ready to tackle India’s batting: Azhar Mahmood

Talking exclusively in Birmingham ahead of Pakistan’s high voltage match against India, Azhar said that Pakistan’s bowling line is ready to tackle India’s batting.

“We are well prepared for the match”, Azhar said.

“No doubt that India’s batting is very good, but our bowlers are also equally good in attack. Hassan, Aamir, Wahab all are in good form and have been performing well, I am hoping for a good show from them in the match,” he said.

But, Azhar added that India’s bowling attack has improved recently and Pakistan can’t take their bowlers lightly.

The 42-year-old veteran of 143 ODIs said that he’s hoping for a good encounter on super Sunday between the two traditional rivals.

“There’s never a dull moment in India Pakistan match. If allowed by weather, there will be a great contest,” he said.

“We are ready and prepared, we will give nation a good result, InshaAllah,” said the bowling coach.

Azhar said that he has told the youngsters that this is a good opportunity for them to become hero because performances against India are always remembered.

“The world sets eye on India Pakistan match. This is brilliant opportunity for all the youngsters to get noticed,” he said.

“I have told them to stop worrying about unseen, just give your best and target India’s top wicket,” Azhar added.

He said added that Wahab’s five-fer and Aamir’s spell in World t20 are still fresh in people’s mind despite Pakistan lost the match and that’s the beauty of India Pakistan encounters.
