Sanam Marvi files for ‘khula’ from father Hamid Ali
Famed Pakistani folk thespian Sanam Marvi, who shares 3 children with father Hamid Ali, has filed for khula from him.
Sanam filed for khula (woman’s right to divorce) in a family justice of Lahore.
In a petition, a thespian settled that she married Hamid Ali in 2009 though after someday her husband’s opinion towards her changed.
“Hamid started abusing and torturing me in front of a children. we tolerated abuse from my father usually for a consequence of my kids,” she said.
Sanam requested a justice to emanate a khula decree as she can't live with her father anymore.
It might be remarkable here that Sanam Marvi got married to Hamid Ali in 2009 after her former father Aftab Ahmed was killed in Karachi a same year.
Sanam and Hamid share 3 children together.
