OBARO: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday addressed a large rally at Obaro town of Ghotki district in Sindh, urging his supporters to boycott corrupt politicians and back his party for a corruption-free ‘New Pakistan’.

“Sindh is a great province, it has great people. You were deprived of your rights, you’ve been looted like anything, but now I will let Asif Zardari to commit atrocities with the people of Sindh in next five years,” he said, while addressing the rally.

“I want you people to make a promise today — vow that you will never vote a person who keeps financial interests and assets abroad,” he said.

In his hour-long diatribe against PPP leader Asif Zardari and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif – whom he called ‘God Fathers of corruption’ – Imran Khan called upon his supporters to boycott corrupt elements.

“The people of Sindh have risen for change. Those who cannot live and die for the nation will not think about its people,” he said.

Khan said another protest sit-in would be held in Islamabad if attempts were made to save Nawaz Sharif and Zardari. “The nation will not tolerate another NRO,” he added.

Claiming that crimes in KP have dropped by 70 percent, Imran Khan vowed to bring reforms in Sindh Police like that of KP police department.
