Jab We Met co-star shares interesting details about Shahid-Kareena break-up
Tarun Raj Arora, who played Geet’s boyfriend Anshuman in Jab We Met, shared interesting details which were never known before about Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor, who had broken up during the shoot of the flick.
It was 2007 when Jab We Met was shot and released. Though the film was a critical and commercial success, there were some bitter things involved during the shoot of the movie.
Actors Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, who were the lead actors in the flick, had broken up during the shoot of the movie. Tarun Raj Aror, who played the boyfriend of Geet (Kareena’s character in the flick) shared interesting details about the chemistry between the two stars as the 10th anniversary of the film neared.
“The tough time in their relationship did not affect the shooting, but I could see that things were a bit weird. When you have a couple on set, you expect them to be a little lovey-dovey and happy,” he said.
According to Tarun, the two actors ‘did not even joke with each other’ which led to ‘an air of discomfort’ for the whole cast and the crew involved with the movie.
The movie must have been a special one for Kareena Kapoor since the actress went on to bag the Filmfare Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) award for essaying the role of Geet.
Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor have since patched up and been good friends. Both of them have also starred in the flick Udta Punjab and are known to harbour no ill feelings towards each other.
