Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Thursday that the PTI and MQM will contest the next election together.

“I always believed that the ideology of the MQM was similar to that of the PTI,” PM Khan said after laying the foundation stone of the Hyderabad University in a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday.

The prime minister said that the people of MQM are ‘exquisite’, adding that the PTI had issues with violence.

PM Khan said that there were people who opposed the establishment of a university in Hyderabad. “I will ask Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui about the people who were opposing the university,” he added.

If you can’t help establishing a university then you must not oppose it, PM Khan said.
