‘PTI can’t use ‘bat’ as celebration symbol’ ; ECP
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday refused to use a ‘bat’ as an electoral pitch to former cricketer Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) until a celebration binds intra-party elections, Aaj News reported.
The ECP pronounced in a letter, a matter of a subsidy of black was place before a ECP, that reason that “the pitch BAT might not be allotted to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf in destiny choosing compartment execution of intra-party elections and achievement of authorised requirement by a party”.
Due to disaster of PTI to reason intra-party elections, that were final due to be reason in 2016, a preference was done by ECP.
The notice has been circulated to a offices of provincial choosing commissions in all 4 provinces reportedly.
